A free telephone link service for older people aged over 60 years old to promote well being and ensure safety at home, thereby reducing feelings of loneliness, isolation, insecurity and vulnerability. Older people recieve a friendly telephone call on a regular basis from a local volunteer. Befriending service also available whereby a matched volunteer visits an older person once a week.
